Japan Pasabuy Inventory System
A multi-user inventory and sales tracker built for a Japan "pasabuy" (buy-for-others) business, replacing scattered spreadsheets and chat threads with one place to track every item, customer, and peso of profit.
About the project
- Smart Item Entry: Paste a product link and a custom Python (FastAPI) scraper auto-fills the photo and price. If a site blocks the scraper, the owner can fill in the details manually.
- Inventory & Categories: Organize items by category, with optional pricing and rates for stock that isn't priced yet.
- Customers & Sales: Manage customer records and log sales against them, so it's always clear who ordered what and who has paid.
- Role-Based Access: Owners see the full picture, while pasabuyers get a restricted view that hides sensitive item details such as costs and margins.
- Profit Dashboard: Charts for sales and profit over time, giving the owner a quick read on how the business is doing.
